In Matthew 16:13-18.. When Jesus Came to The Region Caesarea Philippi, He Asked His Disciples, Who Do The People Say The Son Of Man Is?  They, Replied, Some Say John The Baptist, Others Say Elijah, And Still Others, Jeremiah Or One Of The Prophets.  But What About You He Asked?  Who Do You Say I Am?   AND
 
Simon Peter Answered, You Are The Christ, The Son Of The Living God..  Jesus Replied, Blessed Are You, Simon Son Of Jonah, For This Was Not Revealed To You By Man, But By My Father In Heaven.  And Again Jesus Says In Matt 16:18
 
I Tell You That You Are Peter, And On This Rock I Will Build My Church, And The Gates Of Hades will Not Overcome It.

The "Rock" Is Peter's Declaration That

Why The Church?

 

  Isn't Individual Religion Enough?  Well, Read

  The Below Verses And Determine Who's

  Church It Is, And How Could An Individual

  Keep These Truths To Himself? 

 

         

 

     Christ established the church (Matt. 16:18).

 

     He called it “my church” (Matt. 16:18).

 

     He gave himself for the church, dying for her 

     (Eph. 5:25)

 

     In his death on Calvary, he purchased the church

     with his shed blood (Acts 20:28).

 

     The church is his spiritual body, of which he is

     head (Eph. 1:22-23).

 

     He is the chief cornerstone of the church

     (Eph. 2:20).

 

     It is his house (Heb. 3:6).

 

     The church is his bride (II Cor. 11:2).

 

     He is the savior of the church (Eph. 5:23).

 

     He adds to his church all who are saved

     (Acts 2:47).

 

   The church is his family (Eph. 3:15).
